Nordic sweater knitting

Chose from three sweater patterns, each using different yarn weights and needle sizes Purchase your pattern on Ravelry, purchase your yarn from us and knit a gauge swatch before the first class. The sessions will include knitting a colorwork pullover or cardigan and changing a pullover to a cardigan using the steek method. Also you will learn about choosing ribbing, or I-cord edgings and tips on carrying floats while knitting your colorwork sweater.

Please bring your gauge swatch, circular knitting needles to achieve that gauge in three lengths, 16”, 24” and 32” or 40”, stitch markers, tapestry sewing needle and a supply of try on tubing.

On Ravelry patterns to choose from are:

Blomsterfavn by Randi K design. Knit in worsted weight yarn

Otra Cardigan by Skeindeer knits. Knit in fingering weight yarn

Festive Yoke Cardigan by Skeindeer knits. Knit in Sport weight yarn
